SVE- Strengthening Village Education
Working with 100 local communities to support the capacity to advocate for and help ensure that the children in their communities, especially girls, have access to primary education.
Speak Up
A three year radio programme teaching English literacy to out of school children and young people. The programme uses supplementary materials, teaching guides, writing packs and interactive radio broadcasts which features local news and interviews across different communities in South Sudan. The programme operates in the four states AET works in; Jonglei, western and central Equatoria and Lakes State.
IT - Information Technology Training
Capacity building and training in English and basic computer skills for over 2,000 people in government ministries, local authorities, NGOs and schools
PAM - Public Administration and Management (by distance)
A distance-learning programme in Public Administration and Management to develop local capacity for effective management and administration.
Alternative Education:
English language and basic education classes for young women and young men who missed out on education during the civil war.
QISE
A distance-learning teacher training project that focuses on helping young people to train as secondary school teachers in areas where there is a severe shortage of good teachers
