Support Education in South Sudan
The re-emergence of conflict in South Sudan in December of 2013 has to date impacted over 1 million South Sudanese, who have had to flee their homes for camps within and outside the country.
After the conflict broke out, the number one most requested service by the people of South Sudan continues to be education. But only 2% of the international aid committed to help the South Sudanese people will go to education.
AET continues to provide education to the many people throughout South Sudan who would otherwise be excluded. We are able to successfully operate through times of insecurity and the conflict hasn’t stopped us from training teachers, supporting girls’ education, working with displaced and returnee communities and establishing schools as zones for peace.
Your donation will help us to continue this most vital work and support those who are working towards a better future for themselves, their community and their nation.
