A grand effort

AET were pleased to have six runners sign up for this years London 10k race which took place July 10th.

However sadly, one runner had to pull out at the last minute due to injury.
The five which still ran, all went to great efforts in raising money for the Africa Educational Trust.

We would like to say a particular thank you to one runner, Femi Asaolu.

Femi picFemi, an analyst for the Department for Education made a fantastic effort with his fundraising. He set himself a fundraising target of £1,000, a figure well over the minimum amount we ask fundraisers to hit.

Femi not only met his target of £1,000 but surpassed it by £292.85 (which includes gift aid) he also finished the race in just under 57 minutes.

A special thanks goes out to him and all his supporters.
